It’s funny how you perceive
people in your life. An average person with an average life expectancy meets
about 100,000 people in their lifetime. Our mind is programmed and molded in
such a way that we seem to care less about discovering who the person really is
and continue to judge them in our own condescending manners. I am a hypocrite.
I say that I hate judgmental people while probably being the biggest judge one
has ever seen on this face of the planet. I like to think that one of the
reasons why I can’t make many friends is because of how harshly I judge people
from afar. I closely observe their each and every quality, their responses and
their body language when they are alone. This is my quest to the escape from
this. This “quest” of mine is not about making friends. It is about accepting
people how they are and much more importantly, accept who I am. I want to focus
on making myself happy, doing what makes me happy and not living my life
according to the expectations of my friends, family or teachers. I want to be
free. Free from these scrutinizing eyes boring into my skull like bullets
thrown at me by the almighty Rajnikant.
My mother says that I am very innocent, so much so that, I could be vulnerable to “self-destruction”. Well, I don’t believe in this. I am not innocent. I CHOOSE to be “innocent”. I would hate to play those dirty games that the adults-who-have-their-act-together seem to take a keen interest in. What would you get out of hurting others by passing crude remarks?
I love freaks. I like crazy psychopaths. They’re so God-damn different from the “normal” people that you can’t even imagine what’s going on their heads. The society fails to identify and appreciate the hidden genius in them. I believe that each and every “freak” is so just because their perspective of life is so vastly different than the traditional outlook that it forces me to imagine that where did the humans fail to appreciate the uniqueness. These freaks are comfortable in themselves that they don’t give a shit about “log kya bolenge”.
You’ll meet a psychopath who loves cupcakes, a fun-loving bubble who likes to stay alone sometimes o or an introvert who turns out to be the most hilarious person you ever met. That girl who looks like a bimbo could turn out to the most dedicated person. That guy who never speaks up in the class might be a part-time guitarist at the most happening café. People are not what you perceive them to be. They have lived a different life and have learnt different lessons. The things that you learn from anyone and everyone around you is just flabbergasting.
Live for yourself but breathe for others. Respect your wants and desires but be considerate.
Live your life. Along with the
world...
